One of the most important ways Kyäni Caring Hands fulfills its mission is by delivering Potato Pak wherever it is needed throughout the world. To produce Potato Pak Kyäni partners with Idahoan, producer of the most popular instant potato products in the United States.
For its work in helping children globally, Kyäni was recognized by the city of Idaho Falls in a ceremony last week. Mayor Rebecca Casper presented Kyäni and Idahoan with a signed statement proclaiming July 12 “a day of celebration of the philanthropy and good works produced by the partnership between Kyäni and Idahoan.”
In addition to Mayor Casper, other speakers at the ceremony included Kyäni Founder and Chairman Kirk Hansen, Idahoan President Drew Facer, and local business leader Tommy Ahlquist. It was a wonderful reminder of the power we have to change others’ lives for the better through donating to Kyäni Caring Hands or purchasing Potato Pak. For more information you can see the local news stories here and here.
Another great recent experience took place recently in Hungary as Kyäni worked closely with the local chapter of the Red Cross to donate Potato Pak to the needy in that country. They published an article here on the project (article is in Hungarian but can be translated through Google).
