As you may recall Kyäni Australia had quite the adventure at their Leadership Retreat in the spring when a cyclone hit Hamilton Island where they were staying. After the category 4 storm, Kyäni Distributors helped clear the road to allow stranded tourists to begin evacuation.
Hamilton Island Group recently sent out a newsletter discussing cleanup efforts and highlighting the role Kyäni played in helping to clean up. Here is what they had to say.
KYANI AUSTRALIA DELEGATES HELP WITH THE CLEAN UP
We would like to say a big thank you to the amazing Kyäni Australia conference delegates, who were on Hamilton Island for their event during Cyclone Debbie. They were some of the first people to get out and help our teams in the clean up during the days following, helping clear roads and vegetation to ensure the airport could re-open within four days. Certainly a team building experience that they were not expecting but was greatly appreciated!
As an added thank-you, they now refer to a passage between the airport and the resort area as Kyäni Passage, which is gratifying for all our Distributors who chipped in to help. Way to embody the Kyäni mission!
